"From Exhaustion to Action: How Communities Sustain the Work of Democracy"
At a moment when many of us feel overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure whether our efforts matter, Brian Corr offers a grounded, hopeful framework for staying engaged. Drawing on nearly four decades of experience in community organizing, peacebuilding, and civic leadership — including work in grassroots organizing and municipal government — Brian will explore how communities have sustained themselves through times of crisis and built lasting power for change. He'll share practical lessons and strategies about what keeps people connected, motivated, and effective when the stakes are high and the road is long.
This is not a talk about what's wrong — it's about what we can do together, and why it's worth doing.

We are educators, mediators, engineers, artists, geeks, lawyers, doctors, activists, students, moms and dads. We are residents of Winchester and neighboring communities. We range in age, income, backgrounds, ethnicity and even political leanings. Yet we share a belief that rule of law, fair elections, social justice, civic engagement and human dignity is essential to a thriving democracy. And that is worth fighting for. Stand with us!
